Unusual summer pics: Feeding from flowers!

We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are a few more responses!

First up we have this image from Karthik Mahesh of Bangalore who says, "I clicked this picture on a bright summer morning. This bee was foraging for nectar on a hot day and the yellow colour of the flower provides a perfect backdrop."

Gliding along gracefully

Amul Awasthy contributed this pic, stating, "This was clicked at the Vltava River in Prague (Czech Republic). How smoothly the creature is making its way on a calm river and making the sight more beautiful!"
