First up we received this image from Indranil Banerjee of Switzerland who says, "Late spring in Switzerland, the tulips near Lake Zurich just started unfolding their delicate petals into the charming wind, some still in their siesta! Suddenly a lash of the first rain sprinkled the message of monsoon upon them, and the tulips seemed to be overwhelmed with ecstasy. I tried to capture that moment when the face of a tulip was still drenched with the 'tears of joy'."

Dark approach
Next we have this one from A L Sravya from Hyderabad who says, "This was also taken by me on my campus at the BITS Pilani Engineering College. It was 1 o' clock in the afternoon and I was on my way to the hostel."
Waterfall wonder
Ameet Khadse e-mailed in this photograph, stating, "This was taken while driving towards Tamhani Ghat near Mulshi (Pune). The atmosphere was awesome and it was raining heavily on the ghat."
Rich green foliage
"This is my favourite snap -- a whole green rice field at Kokkarebellur, on the outskirts of Bangalore," explains Jayaprasad.
Taking cover
And finally, Mahesha R of Bangalore contributed this snap, saying, "This was taken in the first week of July near our village on a temple trip. In this image, the tiller called 'negilu' in Kannada, is the only thing lying in the rain while the cows, sheep, cowherd and even a cycle take shelter under the tree."
