First up we received this image from Anirban Mondal who says, "I am an amateur photographer. Seen here are drops of rain water stranded on the petals of a flower, which got drenched in a monsoon shower."

Next we have this one from Ashish Navalakha of IIT Kharagpur who explains, "This photo was taken at Marine Drive in Kochi on May 28, just after the onset of the monsoon. The dark clouds are giving way for a beautiful sun. One of the best sunsets I have ever seen."

Anand Aswale e-mailed in this snapshot, stating, "It was taken during the rains near Pavana Dam on the outskirts of Pune, Maharashtra."

Rushabh Patel contributed this photograph of night lights through the haze of the rain.

And finally, Pravin Upadhyay sent in this pic saying, "We took this picture near Lonavala, while returning from the Bhushi Dam to Mumbai on July 24. This monkey was balancing on the ledge while eating his corn and the background looked so beautiful."
