En route to Kempty Falls

Next

Aritra Mukhopadhyay from Kolkata writes: "We shot this photograph on August 15 last year early one morning on our way from Mussoorie to Kempty Falls.

Two friends and I had headed for Dehradun and Mussoorie for a weekend trip and had to spend the entire night in our car as there were no hotel rooms available there.

Next day morning we started for Kempty. Seconds after I took the snap, it started raining.

Thekkady, Kerala

More

Reader Vishnu Vardhan writes: This picture was shot on a trip to Thekkady -- a serene hill station forming the border of Tamilnadu and Kerala. We had taken an early morning boat ride that lasted around two hours. The weather was gloomy and it was drizzling all the time. We spotted bison, wild boars and deer along the lakeside, which is a dense forest and a tiger reserve. The half-submerged trees offer a breathtaking view.
