First up is this amusing image from Manjunath A, who says, "It was taken on a recent trek to Dudhsagar Falls, located between Karnataka and the Goa border. The Western Ghats are a beautiful place to trek in this season -- one can enjoy the thick, green forest with lots of streams and waterfalls all around."

Ganapati Hosmane e-mailed in this photograph of a periwinkle bloom, explaining, "I found this beautiful flower in my garden after a light drizzle."

"This picture was taken recently in Delhi, on the way to the airport. Since it was shot from the car window during heavy rain, the refraction of light created a interesting effect," says Subhankar Goswami of Kolkata.

And finally, we have this one from Chandan K Mehta, who explains, "This picture was taken with my mobile camera near Vijaywada while I was on my way to Chennai by train. The climate suddenly changed and it started raining heavily."
