We invited you to send in unique rain-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are some more responses!

First up is this one of from Lachman Kotak, who says, "While waiting at the Talegaon Toll Naka on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, we just switched off the wipers of our car and clicked this image."

Share your interesting monsoon snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.

Simply e-mail your photographs to getahead@rediff.co.in (subject line: 'Unusual monsoon pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones right here on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.

Remember, the theme is the monsoons, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

And finally, Ashok Patil sent in this one saying, "It's shot at the famous Table Land of Panchgani. This is among the largest tablelands in Asia. Panchagani also has lots of famous residential schools. When we reached there we saw lots of school children playing football on this rainy evening, with thick cloud cover reducing visibility to a few metres. It was also drizzling."
