What is the best motherhood advice you've received?

Few things are perhaps as challenging as raising a child and we could all do with some help, wouldn’t we? :-)

Motherhood brings with it unique set of issues -- be it the basic ones, like holding your baby to more complex ones like managing work and home or getting your partner to participate in the child’s upbringing.

What are the challenges you faced while bringing up your child?
