My first kiss: 'I kissed her and then ran away!'

We invited readers to share stories of the first time they were kissed -- here is the next set of responses!

First up we have this tale from Nirmal K:

It was the first year of degree college and I had proposed to her within just four months of starting the academic session. It was the ninth month of our budding love when I dared to kiss her for the first time. Until then, we never discussed kissing each other nor taking our relationship to the next level.

One fine afternoon -- it was during our lunch break -- I dared to think of kissing her. Somehow I fooled her to come around the side of a college bus, where we were out of sight from everyone else and then I started talking some nonsense, as I was pretty nervous about what I was going to do. Then suddenly I kissed her on her lips and then ran away for my electronics laboratory class as it was scheduled after the lunch break.

It was a mixed bag of feelings that day, which I can never forget -- I was excited and nervous at the same time. I was also a bit afraid to face her after that, but on our way home together neither of us uttered a single word -- we only kept looking at each other and smiling.

I spent six beautiful years of my life with her, after which she got married to someone else as her parents didn't approve our love. I'm feeling hurt and miss her and still love her.

Next we have Pankaj Agarwal's account of his special moment:

We lived in a small town in UP. I was from a middle class family, so I had to give tuitions to meet my study expenses.

She was a beautiful girl who I had tutored when she was in Class Nine. After that I received admission to engineering and left town. I had no contact with her, even when I visited my hometown on vacation.

Time passed -- I completed my graduation in engineering and got a job. One day when I came home on vacation, I found the same beautiful girl at my house. She was studying for graduation and was a friend of my sister.

We started talking casually and she requested me to teach her how to play chess. I agreed and then we began playing chess regularly. One evening, while we were playing the lights went off and it was completely dark. At that time she held my hands and after some time we found ourselves kissing each other. That was the first kiss of my life. It was short, but very sensuous. Her lips were warm and welcoming.

We had a relationship for more than two years and this was the most memorable period of my life. We had to part ways due to unavoidable reasons, but I will always cherish her memories.

And here is reader Subash Kumar's tale:

I was a very romantic guy indeed. I used to chat with many girls and I also succeeded in dating a couple, but no girl ever gave me permission to kiss her.

Finally I asked my parents to get me married. They got me engaged to a girl who lived in the same city, so after it was arranged I asked my fiance to meet me for a date. To my sheer surprise, her mother denied permission, saying that they wouldn't allow us to meet on our own before marriage.

After six months of a long wait, therefore, the day of our wedding finally came. For some time before that I was very excited and not even eating properly.

At last, after everything was done, I was in our bedroom with my wife on the suhag raat. She was very innocent and did not know much about intimacy. She didn't say anything for an hour, so I started hugging her and finally planted my lips on her lips.

My body become completely cold as this was my first kiss. I also told her that I would not kiss her if she didn't like it, but she didn't resist. That was the most awesome, wonderful and unforgettable experience of my life.
