Indian diplomat Abhay K to release his book of poems

What: Poet, artist and award-winning diplomat Abhay K will release his second book of poems Remains Thursday, June 28.

Hon'ble Minister for Parliamentary Affairs & Water Resources, Government of India, Pawan Kumar Bansal will be releasing this book.

About the Book: Remains offers "poems that are vibrant with a measured optimism". The collection is divided into six books. The poems in each book "confront with the smell and feel of a person, place or thing and create a resonance like the ringing of bells or like a gentle breeze on a hot desert afternoon. What is characteristic of the poems in this collection is a pristine kind of simplicity devoid of too much artifice, poems alive with the rippling, surging presence of water."

Venue: Sapru House, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi on June 28 at 5 pm.
