IMAGES: The world's top five models!

They may not be as famous as other names, but when it comes to the fashion industry, these five catwalk queens rule the roost!

Gisele Bundchen, Kate Moss, and Claudia Schiffer may be well known, but their names do not figure anywhere on the list of the world's top five most in-demand models by industry standards!

The list features rather less familiar names -- take a look!

Anja Rubik

A survey by Fashion Spot showed Polish model Rubik was the most in-demand girl between April 2010 and April this year.

The Polish stunner, 26, posed on an impressive 59 magazine covers, and appeared on 43 designers' runways!

Despite being the most in-demand, Rubik's workload seems small compared to French femme fatale Constance Jablonski, 20.

Joblanski walked for an impressive 83 designers in the past year alone. That is in addition to appearing on 46 magazine covers!

Twenty seven-year-old Lara Stone, the Dutch-born model wife of comedian David Walliams, ranked third in the list.

Due to Lara's contract with Calvin Klein, however, her appearances have been fewer than her peers, with only two runway shows and 47 magazine covers.

Coming in fourth, Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen, 23, is one of the industry's most popular names, having landed high-profile campaigns for Chanel and Valentino.

In addition to appearing on 65 different covers and in 51 shows, Freja also starred in a short film by Karl Lagerfeld.

Melbourne-born Abbey Lee Kershaw, 24, rounds out the top five models as per industry demand.

Abbey has modelled for Chanel, as well as Tom Ford, and has been hailed Australia's biggest model export since Elle Macpherson.
