Kim Kardashian flaunts sculpted body in cut-out swimsuit

Kim Kardashian treated her Twitter fans to a sneak peek of her latest swimwear shoot.

The 31-year-old tweeted a picture from behind the scenes of her photo shoot for the Latin America edition of Esquire Magazine.

She flaunts her flat tummy in the images, which see her posing in a cut out swimming costume that crosses over at the front.

The design accentuated her cleavage and nipped in waist.

The curvaceous reality TV star stands with her long dark hair blowing in front of a wind machine as stylist Charlene Roxborough adjusts her costume, the Daily Mail reported.

Kim looks especially glamorous with a full red pout, staring directly in front of the lens for a photo in front of a white background and then leaning provocatively against a tiled wall for another.

Perfectly preened Kardashian is wearing sky high metallic heels with the beachwear and proudly even wrote about her time with photographer John Russo on Twitter.

Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell are to be joined by younger models, including Transformers star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, to display the best of British fashion, as part of the Olympic closing ceremony.

They will wear classic outfits by top designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen in a spectacular music show at the London stadium on Sunday, August 12.

"Organisers wanted the best of British -- and that's exactly what they've got," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

"The models were all keen to take part because it will be such a memorable event."

"British style is known around the world for innovation and creativity, so it's right that it will be celebrated as part of the show -- it will look amazing," the source added.

Moss, 38, and Campbell, 42, were part of the original generation of supermodels and lingerie model Rosie, 25, is regularly voted as one of the most beautiful women in the world.

The closing ceremony, as London hands over the torch to Rio de Janeiro for 2016, is titled 'A Symphony of British Music' and will feature work from classical composer Edward Elgar to popstar Adele.

Kim Gavin, who has been appointed as creative director and choreographer for the ceremony, has promised an extravaganza involving "our most globally successful musicians" as well as rising stars.

Gavin, who also directed the Diana memorial concert in 2007, said it would be "the biggest after-show party -- the show being the sport".

"We want to create a fabulous emotional experience, something that people will remember for years to come. It will be an elegant mash-up of British music," he added.

Stars rumoured to perform include Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John.

But the gig is for pride rather than megabucks, with performers receiving just one pound as payment.

Monica Bellucci imparts knowledge about how to be stylish in your 40s

Monica Bellucci

Monica Bellucci, the ever-gorgeous Italian model, has shed light on certain factors that need to be kept in mind to ensure that one looks stylish even in their 40s.

The tips given by 47-year-old include being brave, sensual and walking tall.

"When you are in your 40s it's more important to be sensual than sexy. Sexy is a word that is right for very young girls; as you get older you should focus on being elegant," the Telegraph quoted her as saying.

"The first thing to get right is your attitude. Of course, every woman has her own style, but the best way to carry that style is with confidence," she said.

The next pointer is creating a bold look.

"When you're young you can do so many crazy things with your makeup. As you get older you're constantly told to wear less makeup, which I think is stupid."

"I know a woman who is over 50 and has crazy bright makeup with crazy blonde hair, but is so pretty and funny with it. You should be brave with your makeup."

"I love red lipstick, especially when I'm under the spotlight. Alternatively, I like dark eyes with natural lipstick. I like to be pretty for myself," Monica said.

Keeping it simple comes next in line.

"Even if you're popping out to buy some bread and just wearing jeans and a tee-shirt, buy the right ones for your shape. Pure and simple lines are very flattering in clothing, especially for me as my body's curvy."

"As long as you have the basic shape right, then you can change colours and patterns. You need to wear clothes you feel strong in -- you want to wear the dress, not have the dress wear you," she explained.

Other tips including being aware of the right hue for oneself, not being a slave of trends and being natural -- "being yourself".

"You don't have to fit one mould to be stylish in your 40s. I like simple, elegant things, but it all depends on your attitude and character."

"For me, the problem with fashion sometimes is that they want to create a law where everybody is the same. I do not like perfection. It is so boring. Just walk tall and be confident in who you are -- style will then come naturally," Monica added.

Megan Fox

Megan Fox has settled her dispute with bosses of a French magazine after they misquoted her.

The Transformers beauty, who was slammed in March this year, after excerpts of her interview with Jalouse Magazine were translated into English by some US media outlets.

"(I) live well with my image. I cannot complain. I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl," the Daily Express quoted Fox as telling the magazine -- but she quickly denied making the petty remarks and assured fans that the meaning of her words had been lost in translation.

Jalouse editors have since backtracked by printing a retraction.

"In a Jalouse cover story featuring Ms Megan Fox, we unfortunately misquoted Ms Fox. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused," the retraction read.

Fox later showed her fans the magazine's statement in a post on her Facebook.com page.

"Thank you Jalouse Magazine for printing the following retraction," she posted.

Paris Hilton ends lingerie lawsuit with new business deal

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton has worked out a deal to settle a lawsuit with a lingerie manufacturer by reportedly agreeing to front a new line for the company.

The hotel heiress sued Le Bonitas more than a year ago for 1.5 million dollars, charging it breached a contract by not promoting a line of undergarments she lent her name to.

Le Bonitas countersued, blaming the failed dealings on an uncooperative Hilton.

The case went to court in New York City last month and a judge ordered the two sides to settle the dispute in mediation, and TMZ.com reports they have now reached an out-of-court agreement to end the legal battle.

Hilton attended a settlement conference on Monday.

Cheryl Cole avoids pasta and alcohol before red carpet

Cheryl Cole shared her beauty and diet tips after she showed off her stunning look at the Cannes Film Festival.

It's the third year her role as the face of L'Oreal Paris has taken her on to the red carpet in the south of France and she looks every inch the Hollywood siren.

Her skin glows, her hair shines, she's toned and fit.

Taking to the Daily Express reporter in her suite at the Hotel Martinez, she said she avoid pasta before she hit the carpet and doesn't drink alcohol.

But at dinner she likes to have tomato and mozzarella and large steak. She also wants butter for her bread roll, as she said, "you can't eat it dry!"

Contrary to expectation, she eats dessert too -- the "L'Or Electric lipstick pudding" -- a chocolate and caramel concoction, complete with confectionary L'Oreal lippie, created to celebrate the L'Or Electric makeup collection put together especially for the film festival.

To burn those calories Cheryl said, "I dance all the time and I've been doing the Tracy Anderson Method, which is a dance-cardio workout, so staying fit isn't boring to me."

The singer also likes to do her make-up herself because she said, "I just feel no one knows your face like you. I see it every day and have done for 28 years!"

She relies heavily on the professionals' favourite hairspray, Elnett, to prevent the downpour ruining her locks.

"It's so iconic, it takes me right back to me childhood. Even me grandma used to wear it," she said.

To ensure she's picture perfect, she explained "I do hair masques because I want it to be shiny and glossy, but I don't go crazy."

"If you do too much, you can end up with a disaster. One time I came out in a rash because I was trying to put on about 20 products and I had a reaction. Now I like to keep it simple and stick to what I know is going to work."

"I've used a moisturiser and the same L'Oreal PureZone face wash I've had for 10 years, and that's it. I think sometimes you can overcomplicate things," she added.

Cheryl also makes sure that she remove her makeup on before she fell into bed.

"I'm quite religious about taking me makeup off at night, because to me it feels like I've gone to bed without brushing me teeth. I feel dirty and don't like having stuff on me skin. I've fallen asleep while travelling, though, and I hate it when you get mascara everywhere," she revealed.

Kristen Stewart gets glam for cover of new Vanity Fair issue

Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart, who used to be more at home in a pair of jeans and a tatty tee-shirt, has transformed into a glammed-up socialite on the new cover of Vanity Fair.

The usually casual Twilight saga actress channels an Upper East Side woman on the July cover of the magazine, in an image shot by Mario Testino.

In the image, the 22-year-old has slicked-back hair and sports far more eye-makeup than usual.

The starlet wears a blingy dress that looks borrowed from someone else's closet. In her hands, she holds a Pomeranian -- the dog that is second only to the Chihuahua as the preferred pet of society women.

In the interview, Stewart addresses the fact that in real life, she only aims to look perfect on the red carpet.

"I have been criticised a lot for not looking perfect in every photograph," the New York Post quoted her as saying.

"I get some serious (bleep) about it. I'm not embarrassed about it. I'm proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet would think, 'What an actress! What a faker!'...What matters to me is that the people in the room leave and say, 'She was cool. She had a good time. She was honest.' I don't care about the voracious, starving (bleep) eaters who want to turn truth into (bleep)," she said.

Stewart said that, while she usually dresses down, it's a big improvement from how she used to look.

"Look at a picture of me before I was 15. I am a boy. I wore my brother's clothes, dude! I remember being made fun of because I wasn't wearing Juicy jeans."

"It really bothered me. I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like, 'Oh my God! That's disgusting -- you don't shave your legs!'" she added.

Despite flaunting a goddess-like physique, Charlize Theron has revealed that she worries about getting fat.

The 36-year-old actress has insisted that like everybody else, she too needs to work out and battle pimples as she is more of a mere mortal than people think.

"I get fat. I need to work out. I have pimples and I'm getting older," the Daily Express quoted her as telling Easy Living Magazine.

"Everything is happening for me exactly as it is for everybody else."

And despite having a far better base to start from than the crowd, the 36-year-old actress admitted that she works at maintaining her Aphrodite appearance.

"I have to be disciplined. It's part of my job so I train five days a week. I practise an incredibly hard yoga called power yoga. I cycle, I spin and I do all sorts of things that I like because that's the key," she added.
