The fashion bible has listed the 'it' girls of the fashion industry who made a mark last year. Take a look.

Vogue Magazine is one of the biggest publications in the fashion business, so when they talk, everyone listens.

In the following pages, we bring you the catwalk queens who made it to their annual list of top models 2012.

1. Karlie Kloss

The 20-year-old American has nabbed the crown. Having taken over the nickname of 'The Body' from Elle McPherson, Karlie has graced umpteen magazine covers in 2012 and in addition to being a Victoria's Secret Angel, she's walked the ramp for the biggest names in the business like Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Karlie managed to push 24-year-old fellow American Arizona to second place -- she was the winner last year.

A mother-of-one, Arizona has graced the cover of several international editions of Vogue; editor Anna Wintour has praised her generously, even comparing her to legendary supermodels Linda Evangelista and Natalia Vodianova.

This 20-year-old German stunner debuted on the runway at the tender age of 15 for Calvin Klein.

Showings for the likes of Dior, Hermes, Dolce & Gabbana and Michael Kors are all in a day's work for Toni ; she's also starred in several leading fashion campaigns and appeared on not only several covers of Vogue, but also Elle, Muse, Marie Claire and Numero, among others.

Twenty eight-year-old Kati was born in Russia and brought up in Germany.

Amazingly, she has seen a lot of success within two short years of entering the modelling industry; the dark haired beauty was discovered by an agent only in 2011, which is when she first took to the catwalk.

Kati has worked with the likes of Zuhair Murad, Temperley London and Jil Sander, in addition to starring in campaigns for Nina Ricci and Fendi, among others.

Brazilian bombshell Isabeli is 29 and mother to a six-year-old son, but you wouldn't know it to look at her!

This seasoned supermodel has appeared in prestigious publications like the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Marie Claire, Elle and Vogue, of course. Isabeli has also been the face of huge brands like Chanel, Roberto Cavalli and H&M.

At 24 years of age, this pretty Puerto Rican is currently rated the Number One model in the world by Models.com.

Joan has appeared in campaigns for brands like Gucci, Estee Lauder and Stella McCartney, as well as in editorials for leading magazines like Harper's Bazaar, GQ, and V Magazine, in addition to Vogue.

Also 24, Liu is the first ever Chinese model to have catwalked for a Victoria's Secret showing; she is also the first-ever Asian face of cosmetics giant Estee Lauder.

She has worked with exclusive labels like Alexander Wang, Marni and Vivienne Tam and is currently considered one of the most in-demand faces in international circles, doing shows across New York, Paris and Milan.

At Number Eight on the list for 2012 is 27-year-old French hottie Aymeline.

This femme fatale has worked the runway for Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga, among others, and is a fashion photographer's dream, having worked with the best of them like Steven Meisel and Greg Kadel.

Aymeline has appeared in various international editions of Vogue.

Twenty four-year-old American Kendra is up next.

She's known for her striking likeness in appearance to supermodel Cindy Crawford and her career seems to be following a similar successful trajectory; Kendra has worked with the likes of Isaac Mizrahi, L'Wren Scott and Valentino and appeared on magazine covers like Elle France and Vogue China.

Rounding off the top 10 is the 25-year-old Hungarian hottie.

Eniko has graced the ramp for brands like Givenchy, Blumarine, Moschino and Diane von Furstenberg, fronted campaigns for Kenzo, MaxMara and Samsonite by Viktor & Rolf and has also appeared in the Pirelli Calendar, not to mention that she's been featured on international Vogue covers and in editorials. Need we say more?
