As Victoria's Secret lingerie is set to throw open the doors of its first-ever store in the UK today, the Daily Mail outlines stay-sexy tips from the brand's world-famous Angels!

With one of the biggest lingerie labels in the world finally touching down in the UK, one of the nation's leading publications, the Daily Mail has compiled diet and fitness tips from its leading faces (and bodies).

In the following pages, we take a look at this advice from the Victoria's Secret Angels on how to look your sexy best -- read on!

Adriana Lima

The 31-year-old Brazilian bombshell is a mother-of-one and has another bun in the oven at the moment, but she's always in top form for the annual Victoria's Secret catwalk extravaganza.

In the build-up to the show last year, Adriana was quoted as telling British Vogue, "It is really intense. It's not really the amount of time you spend working out, it's the intensity: I jump rope, I do boxing, I lift weights, but I get bored doing that. If I am not moving I get bored very easily."

The Daily Mail also reports that a few days before, she starts avoiding solid foods and drinks mainly protein shakes and water.

Exercising portion control when it comes to her diet is another of Adriana's secrets -- she believes in eating healthy for the most part, consuming steamed vegetables, fresh fruit, lean meats and dairy and only indulges high-carb cravings occasionally, in small quantities.

Candice Swanepoel

The 23-year-old South African stunner also maintains her bikini body by keeping tabs on her portions -- it is believed that she only eats meal portions the size of which would fit in her hand!

"To feel good and healthy I eat a lot of vegetables, drink a lot of water, and I eat a lot of meat like steak because I want to build muscle," the Daily Mail quotes her as saying.

Jumping rope is her favourite cardio workout and she's also into boxing and yoga, working out thrice a week.

Alessandra Ambrosio

The Brazilian beauty, 31, has been making headlines lately because she's already snapped back into runway-ready form two months after giving birth to her second child in May.

Amazingly, Alessandra has gone on record to state that she's always eaten "whatever she wanted", but includes "a little bit of everything", which means that she balances her intake of fatty foods with healthy options.

Her fitness regime, however, could give anyone a run for their money -- pilates and yoga thrice a week and 10-day sessions of the Brazil Butt Lift, because, as she told Elle Magazine, "Brazilians always worry about their butts. That's one thing I want to make sure is perfect on the runway."

Doutzen Kroes

Dutch dazzler Doutzen, 27, is also mother to a toddler, but you wouldn't know it by looking at her!

She has a much stricter diet than fellow Angel Alessandra -- it bans all carbs and sugar. She does cheat occasionally, however, telling Fashionologie.com that French fries are her weakness and that "you can't force yourself to eat none of the good stuff. I wouldn't be a happy person if I only ate salads."

When it comes to exercise, Doutzen credits parenting, saying that "running after" her son keeps her on her toes. But she also boxes, jumps rope and focuses on lower body workouts to keep in shape.

Miranda Kerr

Another member of the Victoria's Secret yummy mummy club, 29-year-old Miranda is a certified health coach herself.

The amazing Australian has frequently extolled the virtues of yoga, particularly during pregnancy, which she says helped her regain her pre-baby bod. She religiously indulges in 30-minute sessions each day, supplementing the sessions with pilates, light weights and walking.

She's also majorly into organic foods. "I adopt the 80/20 rule. 80 per cent healthy and organic, 20 percent indulgent and that works for me and my body personally. I indulge occasionally and avoid counting calories," she told Women's Fitness Magazine in an interview.

Miranda also follows a Blood Type Diet and avoids eating meat for the most part.

Lindsay Ellingson

American blonde Lindsay, 27, likes to incorporate fun into her fitness regime, participating in hip-hop dance classes in addition to yoga, according to the Daily Mail.

She says: "I've been dancing for 10 years. When it comes to exercise, I don't like anything that's too serious."

The leggy model also claims not to have any dietary restrictions, explaining that she works off the extra calories by exercising overtime. "I love a cheeseburger and I indulge in sweets like apple crisps and dark chocolates, so I just take a few extra classes," Lindsay is quoted as saying.

Erin Heatherton

Twenty three-year-old Erin is following in another supermodel's footsteps to stay in top form.

The American catwalker has taken Cindy Crawford's advice to follow a gluten-free diet and stocks up on protein foods to avoid losing her curves.

"I met Cindy Crawford once and she said something to me I'll never forget...She said it's really not always about working out the most important thing is about what you eat. That really changed my perspective," she told PopSugar.

While her 'cheat' foods include meats and cheese, Erin performs daily running and yoga sessions that last an hour to avoid piling on the pounds.

Lily Aldridge

Like Miranda, American hottie Lily, 26, is also a fan of the Blood Type Diet, consuming only foods that are suited to her blood group and generally trying to avoid sugar.

On the exercise side of things, she favours Pilates, yoga and kickboxing. Her trainer, Justin Gelband, told starlounge.com that she particularly opts for routines that target her hips, arms and butt. "Lily likes light boxing and we use exercise Sliders a lot," he added.

To get runway ready in particular, Lily does hardcore sessions of 100 crunches, leg lifts and rear-end lifts.

Chanel Iman

Exotic-looking Chanel is only 21 and of mixed Korean and African American descent.

And unlike her fellow Angels, she was actually on a mission to gain some weight last year! The waifishly thin model had to gain some curves in order to show off Victoria's Secret lingerie to perfection and told Us Weekly Magazine, "I eat to gain. I'm a big believer in having hips, butt and thighs! I'm eating everything from steak to mashed potatoes; people hate me!"

But Chanel's mission was not quite as easy as it sounds. "It's very difficult for me because I'm naturally skinny. I have to put on a lot of weight and work out to gain muscle," the magazine quoted her as saying. So overweight or underweight, there's no escaping exercise without affecting your health!

Izabel Goulart

Yes another babe-licious Brazilian, 27-year-old Izabel also loves and embraces curves.

Rather than go sugar-, gluten- or carb-free, her diet involves portion control, eating everything in moderation.

On the exercise side of things, she has mentioned in interviews that she's very into Pilates, working at it three times a week for one-hour sessions. She insists that she use a Pilates machine and steers clear of performing the exercises on the floor.

Despite her knockout appearance, she also has some advise for us regular folk, explaining to FOX, "Who doesn't have ugly days? I definitely do sometimes. But you just have to keep up a good energy and good mood to get through it."

Behati Prinsloo

Namibian stunner Behati, 23, says that it takes serious commitment to staying in supermodel shape.

She told Vogue.co.uk that she performs Pilates and indulges in swimming, paddle boarding and surfing -- all in addition to gymming regularly!

"I try to do Pilates when I can all year around and I also like to swim a lot. I also have a trainer that kicks my butt when it's needed," Behati was quoted as saying.

"I eat healthy and stay active and drink plenty of water," she added.

Karlie Kloss

And finally we come to the youngest Angel of them all, American model Karlie, who's only 19 and is being hailed as the new 'body' after Elle Macpherson.

The statuesque looker says that being sporty is her fabulous secret, according to the Daily Mail.

"I'm very athletic; I always have been. I did every sport under the sun while growing up. I studied classical ballet and dance for years, and I continue to always be very active," she's quoted as saying. "Whether running, biking, swimming, or dancing, I just like to always be on the move."
