Here's everything you wanted to know about the MTV VJ who was spotted with Shahid Kapoor at a restaurant.

It all starts with an innocent meal. So we aren't surprised that a lot is being made of a quick bite that Shahid Kapoor and MTV VJ Bani shared a few days ago.

The VJ of course confirmed the news to the media and said that the two share a common gym and on the day, they felt a little hungry and decided to eat out when they were spotted.

Bani, whose real name is Gurbani Judge shot into the limelight when she participated in MTV's reality show Roadies.

Perhaps one of the most controversial participants on the show, Bani was better known as 'the manipulator' amongst her peers and never ended up winning the competition -- Anthony Yeh did.

However the young rabble-rouser did manage to get all the attention she needed at the MTV studios and landed a plum job as a VJ.

From a college dropout to a VJ

The 23-year-old Bani has her roots in Chandigarh and has changed a couple of schools and dropped out of college the day she hit it big with MTV.

At the time she got a call from the channel to VJ for them, Bani was busy applying to a college in New Zealand to study Graphic Design.

During the time she was also hosting events for the channel and when they saw her being good at it, they made the call.

Bani dropped the idea of studying any further -- the graphic design course was for five years and decided to make the big bucks.

When she was young, like most children Bani wanted to be an adult and 'earn enough money to support myself'.

Interestingly, for the image she carries, VJ Bani does not smoke, drink or do drugs. And while she does hope to support PETA, Bani confesses that she can't because she loves to eat fish, something she knows PETA won't really appreciate!

Bani says her biggest strength is her will power and loves to have tattoos -- at last count they were nine!

'Believed in god, but I grew up!'

According to her profile page, Bani's favourite drink is milk, and counts Alkaline Trio and Incubus as her favourite bands.

She believes in the fact that change is the only thing in life that is constant and says that she used to believe in god 'but then I grew up'!

According to Bani her ideal man has to be someone who 'loves paneer' because she does too and has to be a gym buff as she works out for an hour and a half every day too!

Considering Shahid also seems to arrive at the same time in the gym as Bani, we seem to think the meal may just be the beginning of something more than just buddy bonding! What say?
