When it's Manish Malhotra who's showing, you can expect ethnic glamour that will take your breath away.
And the Badshah of Bollywood couture didn't disappoint at the LFW, as kalidaar kurtas, resplendent lehengas and stunning saris sailed onto the runway in a haze of colour, sparkle and sophistication.
Here's how it all went down and to give you a glimpse of what is to come, we start off with some fab whirling ensembles set off to perfection by Kavita Kharayat, Deepti Gujral and Rachel Bayros.
Citrus stunner
Next we have a delicious kalidaar in citrus orange and pink, with plunging neckline and set off by a long jacket.
Olive overture
Despite the lehenga silhouette, what you're seeing is actually a one-sided gown that moves from a gold bodice into a full olive skirt.
Fantastic form
Anjali Lavanya dominates the ramp in a voluminous lehenga teamed with a tiny choli for effect.
For the men
The designer sends out a splendid sherwani in crimson with hints of gold at the cuffs.
Taking a turn
Tamara Moss shows off a grey and matte-gold twirler with empire waist.
Kalidaar couture
Surelee Joseph steps out in a champagne and silver sequinned affair, with coral applique work along the neckline extending to the hips.
Crochet touch
This next one shows off a crochet hem and fuschia layer underneath.
New look
Malhotra sends out a kurta for men with an innovative outward cut, teamed with pants and a jacket. How about that? Androgyny works both ways!
Darkening tone
With beautiful rows of floral threadwork on the bodice, an Indo-Western ensemble moves into deep hues in black and blue.
Sparkling drape
White tulle and orange silk are sprinkled generously with gold for the 'wow' factor.
Stripe it right
Vertical stripes culminate in a twirling underskirt with orange-gold border.
Sherwani style
Freddy Daruwala strikes a pose in a well-cut sherwani with yet another unusual twist -- the bright pocket handkerchief!
Show off those curves
Nicole Faria is ab-elicious in a blue velour choli and intricate threadwork ghagara.
Golden girl
What we liked best about this kalidaar was the stunning cutwork panel that sets off the waist.
High fashion
Candice Pinto goes to town in a whirling ensemble complemented by a gorgeous little bolero jacket.
