Here's a glimpse of celeb hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani's line 'Black Velvet' from her label SoFake, started in collaboration with her partner Sukriti Grover, on Day Two of the LFW.
Together with Sukriti Grover, Sapna Bhavnani has made her foray into the world of fashion designing with her brand SoFake, which promotes the use of faux leather.
Given their premise, it's hardly surprising that the showing, their second time at Fashion Week, was sponsored by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
Their latest collection, called 'Black Velvet', aims to highlight how you need not use animal products to look fashionable. The all-black garments also have another ideal -- to speak out against the obsession with fairness in India.
And to drive the point home, they had Mandira Bedi model the showstopper, but first, here's a look at some other creations from the line like this textured full-length number.
