To our pleasant surprise, the recently concluded India Resort Fashion Week witnessed more hits than misses on the ramp.

While resort wear experts Malini Ramani and Nandita Mahtani showcased some really impressive designs, other less fortunate folks served up some bizarre clothes on the ramp that made little to no sense at all.

Here's a look the ten WORST designs we saw on the ramp!

Falguni and Shane Peacock

This designer duo's ramp showcase included this haphazardly put together pant suit that was just all over the place with its busy patterns and ill-fitted sleeves.

Archana Kumar

We are all for path-breaking concepts and having some fun with non-conformist ideas.

But even by those standards, this colourful, cleavage-baring, body-hugging shirt on a male model was a bit of a stretch.

Riddhi and Siddhi

This dress, with its severely ruched sleeves and the neon details needs to go back where it came from -- back to the 1980s.

Varoin Marwah

Designer Varoin Marwah, was arguably the most enthusiastic of the lot when it came to mens wear.

Unfortunately, zeal doesn't necessarily translate into great designs.

Yet another Varoin Marwah creation we are still struggling to wrap our head around.

Wear it if you are tired of being taken seriously all the time.

Nandita Mahtani

Nandita Mahtani, who is known for her fun and youthful creations, had a bit of a slip-up with this dull and ill-fitted number on the ramp.

Masaba Gupta

Masaba Gupta's show was a major win as it featured her signature prints on gorgeous sheer outfits and bikinis.

Only this inexplicable patchwork of a dress served as an aberration.

Pria Kataria Puri

This could very well be the kaftan of menswear.

Even the most gorgeous of models can't carry it off. Also, you'll have a tough time deciding what you hate the most among that print, the cut and the deep v-neck.

Babita Malkani

This Babita Malkani creation is best suited for night wear, if you ask us.

Ramona Narang

This Ramona Narang creation came across as so unimaginative, we wouldn't be surprised if this was designed as an afterthought.
