Find out why Marissa Miller has her meals in the buff, how Pamela Anderson showed why she's still got one of the best bodies in the business and why a Dutch magazine had to apologise to Rihanna.

Kim Kardashian hits out at the media!

Kim Kardashian has slammed rumors, which claimed that she had gone for a fashion show to Haiti.

The reality star clarified that she had actually gone to attend the Haitian Artisan Fair.

Earlier this month, the 31-year-old had headed to the Caribbean country, which was hit by a earthquake in 2010, with her mother, Kris Jenner, to learn more about the charity We Advance, which is in part "a movement to advance the health, safety, and well being of women throughout Haiti" according to its website.

However, on Tuesday she clarified her intention of visiting Haiti in a post on her website, People.com reported.

"Our mission was to learn more about (actress Maria Bello's) charity, We Advance, meet the Haitian people who have made such amazing progress since the devastating earthquake in 2010, and celebrate the women of Haiti, who inspired me more than I ever could have anticipated," Kardashian wrote.

When Kardashian returned, she said that she saw 'malicious' reports that claimed that she 'spent a fortune' on herself in Haiti.

"While my experience was completely life-changing ... a very emotional and surprisingly positive journey that I will never forget, some media outlets have tried to tarnish the motive behind my visit and have written completely ridiculous and untrue things," she wrote.

"The truth is that I was at the Haitian Artisan Fair, where the amazing men and women who make their jewellery and crafts sell them to visitors to make a living, and I bought some beautiful jewellery!" she added.

Adele may grace Vogue's March issue

Adele is reportedly set to strike a pose on the cover of Vogue this spring.

According to WWD report, one of biggest fashion magazines in the world is rumoured to have recruited the soulful crooner for the cover of their March 2012 issue, the Telegraph reported.

This will be the 23-year-old's second Vogue cover this year, following her sultry appearance on the UK edition's October issue.

However, the American shoot promises to be extra-special, with designers apparently having been asked to make cover-worthy outfits especially for the full-figured singer who takes clothes in a UK 16, rather than the unforgiving sample size of a UK 8.

Marisa Miller eats naked to keep body in shape

Model Marisa Miller has revealed that she eats naked to keep her body in top shape for Victoria's Secret fashion shows and Sports Illustrated swimsuit shoots.

The 33-year-old feels that 'eating smart is all about having an awareness' of one's body.

"Eating smart is all about having an awareness of your body. The most obvious way to do that is by seeing it," the New York Post quoted her as saying.

"So when you're trying to lose weight, spend more time wearing less. I don't think I could eat a plate of nachos naked -- could you?" she said.

iPad scam hits Lady Gaga fans

Lady Gaga was targeted by cyber-punks who hacked her Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Multiple messages were sent, seemingly from the singer, offering free iPad2's to every fan.

Attached links directed more than 100,000 of her followers to a site requesting personal details, possibly as part of a phishing scam.

The problem was finally resolved and the pop queen took to her micro blogging site to express her relief.

"Phew. The hacking is over!" the BBC quoted her Gaga as writing.

Her Facebook page had the post saying: "Lady Gaga's new iPad comes out in 3 days!

"So for the next 72 hours we will be hosting a massive giveaway to all the Mother Monster fans. Sign up and receive your special Lady Gaga edition iPad in time for the Holidays! For contest rules and registration visit the link below."

This was followed later by a tweet saying: "Monsters, I'm giving away FREE ipad2's to each one of you in the spirit of the holidays :)"

The singer often refers to her fans as "monsters", suggesting the hack was specifically targeted at the singer - rather than a more general phishing attack often seen on social networking sites.

Phishing attacks typically trick users into believing they are signing in to a legitimate website, but instead illegally gather personal data which can then be used to gain access to private accounts such as email and banking.

The offending messages have now been removed, but web statistics show more than 100,000 of her fans followed the links. (ANI)

Dutch magazine apologises for racist slur on Rihanna

The editor of Jackie, a popular Dutch women's magazine, has been forced to apologize after a fashion item in its latest issue used a racial expletive to describe pop star Rihanna.

The use of the offensive street slang had generated accusations of racism in the fashion and music world particularly in the US, where the singer is based.

Eva Hoeke, the magazine's editor, was required to issue a statement apologizing to the singer, who is famous for performing in provocative and skimpy costumes.

"This should never have happened," the Telegraph quoted the editor as saying.

"It was stupid and naive to think this was an acceptable form of street talk -- you hear it all the time on the radio and TV -- then your ideas about what is normal shift," she said.

The magazine article was a piece on how mothers could dress their daughters like pop stars and recommended Rihanna-style outfits as long as they were not "half naked" because of the cold Dutch winters.

"She's got street cred, a ghetto ass and a golden throat," the article said.

"No to the big sunglasses and the porn heels, and yes to the tiger print, pink shizzle and everything that glitters. Now let's hope she won't beat anybody up at day care."

Rihanna had herself intervened on Twitter on Tuesday and slammed the article.

"I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate!!," she tweeted before adding, "Well with all respect, on behalf of my race, here are my two words for you ...---- you," Rihanna had tweeted.

Gisele Bundchen is finally confirmed as the new face of Givenchy, following months of rumours that she was taking over from Mariacarla Boscono.

Her first ad for the French fashion house is in 'the expression of a love story between a surfer and a mermaid' and she stars alongside two male models (Chris Moore and Simone Nobili) in a gothic, beachside spread with big, black surfboards.

Earlier this year, the Brazilian supermodel was named the world's top earning model for the seventh year, in a list compiled by Forbes.com, Contactmusic reported.

In 2011, her income increased by a huge 20 million dollars to earn 45 million dollars over one year.

Proof of her star status enhancing brands is easy to find. After she became the face of hair care brand Pantene in March 2010, the company's sales went up by 40 per cent in Latin America.

Pamela Anderson was recently spotted flaunting her curvaceous body at Hawaiian beach in a tiny black bikini.

The former Baywatch star donned a tiny black bandeau bikini as she strolled along the sand before enjoying a cooling dip in the sea.

The 44-year-old was enjoying her vacation with boyfriend Jon Rose, a professional surfer and an environmentalist who has been dating the Baywatch beauty for the last few months, the Daily Mail reported.

Pamela had recently spoken about her diet, and credited her two sons Dylan and Brandon for helping keep her trim.

"My kids keep me in shape. I play every sport with them -- football, basketball, baseball," she had said.

"I'm always outside and on the beach and in the water and I'm not a real gym person.

"I don't do the gym and I don't diet - I'm vegetarian but I don't diet," she had added.

'Enhanced' Taylor Swift mascara ad axed

A beauty ad featuring Taylor Swift has been pulled in the US over complaints that the shot was digitally enhanced.

The 22-year-old country singer was appointed the new face of CoverGirl Cosmetics last year and fronted their print campaign for NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara.

However, readers complained the image of Swift had been digitally altered, and officials at America's National Advertising Division (Nad) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus launched an investigation into the issue.

Now CoverGirl makers Proctor and Gamble have discontinued the advertisement in question after the complaints.

"The advertising at issue featured a celebrity looking up to highlight her long eyelashes. Beneath was the disclaimer, 'lashes enhanced in post-production'," Contactmusic quoted Nad chiefs as writing in a statement.

"Upon receipt of Nad's initial inquiry, the advertiser advised Nad it had permanently discontinued all of the challenged claims and the photograph in the advertisement," the statement read.

Debra Messing and Daniel Zelman have mutually decided to split after 11 years of marriage.

Despite the split, the Will and Grace actress, 43, and her husband, writer-producer, 44, continue living together under one roof in New York City.

The couple, who met years ago as students at New York University, has a 7-year-old son, Roman.

"(They) privately separated earlier this year," the New York Daily News quoted Messing's representative as telling the Daily News.

"The decision was mutual, and they remain supportive of one another and committed to raising their son as a family," the representative added.

"They have been separated the better part of the year but continue to live together in New York for Roman," explained the source.

"It's very amicable," the source added.

Jane Fonda is finally going to grace the small screen by making her acting debut on TV.

The 73-year-old actress from the sixties has been signed to star in the new American television series Newsroom, which tells the story of a US cable news network.

Fonda will play the role of chief executive Leona Lansing, with the HBO show also starring Jeff Daniels and British actress Emily Mortimer.

"It's thrilling to have Jane join the cast," the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

"In all her years of acting Jane has focused on film and stage work, so to finally get her acting on television is a real coup after all this time," the source said.

In more than half a century as an actress, Fonda has focused only on film and stage work.

She has two Oscars and has received several other movie awards and nominations to her credit.

Olsen twins make it to Forbes' 30 under 30

You may remember them from the '80s sitcom Full House but the Olsen twins have come a long way since then. Michelle Obama wore one of their creations on national television, their label was shortlisted for the New Talent award at the CFDA and they've even launched their own fashion.

While they were at it, they also managed to make it to the American Vogue's best-dressed list.

However the cherry on the icing came only recently when Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been named in Forbes's list of Top 30 under 30, in the Art and Design section.

Is Donna Karan's latest Haiti campaign 'imperialistic'?

Image: Donna Karan's campaign

After the tragic earthquake in Haiti, fashion designer Donna Karan spent time exploring initiatives that were focussed on exporting Haitan craftsmanship among others.

However her recent ad campaign was shot in Haiti featuring Victoria's Secret Angel Adriana Lima has got into some controversy.

The campaign features Lima posing along with local residents in dresses from the spring/summer 2012 collection.

According to Telegraph, in a particular shot, the local children 'appear to blend into the shadowed background behind the model'.

The paper quotes a commenter on Fashion Gone Rogue referring to the children as 'minorities in the background' and goes on to quote another commenter on the Huffington Post who point out that 'using the downtrodden as props for high-fashion shoots smacks of completely insensitive imperialistic attitudes'.
