Red carpet specials and red-hot cocktails were the mainstay of Komal Sood's collection showcased today at the LFW.

Luxurious fabrics, cutting-edge styles and dare-to-bare designs took to the runway in quick succession, topped off by celebrity showstopper Sidhartha Mallya -- here's how it all went down.

First up we have Candice Pinto, looking like a siren in this sparkling red bikini and semi-sari, worn over sparkling black pants.

Next we have Alesia Raut in a fish-scale sequinned number with sheer neckline.

Royal purple and jazzy gold come together in a flurry of rouching on this one-sided cocktail.

The designer moves to evening elegance with another one-sided dress, less edgy and more classic.

Sucheta Sharma stuns in a black lace corset ensemble with a dip back hemline.

Rosy-toned sequins shimmer and shine on this dramatic outfit with a backless cut.

For the men we see a rich embossed waistcoat, teamed with tapering black trousers.

Vivacious red makes a flamboyant statement on the ramp courtesy these two bold numbers.

We see Candice once more, in a fabulous backless LBD with gold trim.
