Though HCL has its own brand value in laptop segment, it is also earning a good response in the tablet category, giving credit to its ME series. One of the member of this series, HCL ME Tab Y3, is the flagship device of this line-up. This tablet is designed and developed by Google in collaboration with Asus. Google Nexus 7 is one of the most slimmest and most powerful devices that have ever touched the ground.

Powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor boasting a speed of 1.2GHz, this GSM network supporting gadget works on the latest Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system that gives access to a vast variety of applications and features. 5. RIM Blackberry Playbook

First released in the year 2011, BlackBerry PlayBook is still stealing the hearts of some of the gadget freaks who know what the BlackBerry operating system is.

Based on BlackBerry Tablet OS, this PlayBook draws power from a dual-core Cortex A9 processor that beats at the rate of 1GHz.

The 7-inch LCD WSVGA display of BlackBerry PlayBook shows a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and features multi-touch support. 1GB RAM is very smartly conjuncted with internal memory that ranges from 16GB to 32GB to 64GB, but to a disappointment, there is no microSD card slot for expanding the external memory.

The primary camera is 5 megapixels with 1080p of video recording and to allow video calls, a 3 megapixels snapper is there in front with a recording resolution of 1080p at the rate of 30 frames per second.

The lithium polymer battery has 5,300 mAh of power to provide life to this beast. Though it does not support any GSM network, tech enthusiasts are buying this gadget at a price of Rs 14,940.
