Voice recognition

The voice 'intelligent assistant' works highly on iPhone 4S. The device will recognise your voice almost perfectly to make calendar reminders, send emails or sms, answer questions, search stuff and few more.

The best part of voice assistant is that it gives you directions of highly-rated restaurants near you when you ask for it, it can help you in money exchange when you are abroad, it can set an alarm for you for early morning wake-up, it can do more such surprising work for you without making you enter information manually.

Apple has used a software for this feature developed by its subsidiary called Siri, which can understand spoken nuances. It can come back to you with correct answers if you ask questions such as 'What is the weather like today?' or 'Do I need a raincoat?'

The software can also take dictation perfectly, read text messages aloud, accept verbal requests to search the Web, and it can do many more such things. Phil Schiller asked the device 'Tell me about Neil Armstrong,' and it showed the Wikipedia page related to Armstrong.

Shipment

The new iPhone will be made available in the US market from October 14 onward.

Disappointment

Industry watchers, media people and Apple fans were less interested about iPhone refresh and had more expectations about the iPhone 5. The event seemed making a statement about the leadership of new chief executive Tim Cook who had earlier acted as interim boss when Steve Jobs was on sick leave.

Moreover, the big announcement was made by his event colleague and marketing boss Phil Schiller, may be to bring more people to the forefront. Let's wait for user reactions that will be interesting of course. As of now, the event was quite disappointing.
