Thought the basic gameplay of catapulting birds remains the same, the objects and characters to destroy are new.

Instead of killing pigs, here you have caged birds, and yes, monkeys! Your goal is to sling-shoot your bird and free the caged birds and destroy the monkeys.

There are also new obstacles, which swing and sway like trees, chains, lamps, etc. compared to the previous obstacles that were stagnant. The animations and art has also improved a lot which means that the developers are taking the franchise seriously and are not just basking on the success glory.
