Study UK: 14 universities you must know of

Last updated on: January 17, 2011 18:26 IST

Study in the UK and you'll find an array of exciting experiences to discover -- music, celebrations, accents, people to meet, places to visit -- the list is endless. As the UK is such a cosmopolitan society you'll find that many UK customs are already familiar to you -- so you'll settle in faster than you think.

If you're looking to study in the UK, the British Council's Education UK Exhibition is just where you need to be.

From February 1, 2011 these exhibitions will be held at four cities of Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune. Indian students represent the second largest number of international students in higher education in the UK. More than 51,000 Indian students are currently studying in the UK.

The exhibition will cater to a range of subjects at all levels: diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate. Information about scholarships and the student visa process will also be available. Additionally, there will be seminars and career-based seminars on subjects such as business & management, IT & engineering, media studies, IELTS and student visas.

Before you attend these exhibitions you have a chance to interact with delegates of UK institutions and get responses to your queries regarding studying in the UK.

From January 17 to January 25 we will have web chats twice a day with one of the UK delegates. ...
