ETS is inviting applications from Indian students for the TOEFL India Scholarship 2011. Read on for details.
What:
The TOEFL Scholarship 2012 is now open for applications.
There will be ten scholarships in all.
The TOEFL India scholarships for under-graduate or post-graduate study will be given out to deserving candidates.
Four of these are worth $10,000, and six are others worth $5,000 -- for studies at a college or university in Australia, UK, US, or Canada.
Who can apply
You must be currently living in India, and begin under-graduate or post-graduate studies in 2012 at a college listed in the TOEFL Destinations Directory.
You must hold a grade point average (GPA) of 80 or higher on a 100-point scale, or 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
You must have a valid TOEFL score.
How to apply
To apply for the scholarship, you will have to submit a completed application form with TOEFL test scores, a written essay, and official transcript in a sealed envelope.
Selected applicants will be called for an interview.
Important dates
April 13, 2012 is the last day to submit the application with the above requirements.
June 1, 2011 is the last day to send a PDF form by email of your university's official letter of acceptance.
