Applications invited by Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow for General Management Program for Executives commencing in the session 2011.

What

General Management Programme for Executives (GMPE) is a 1 year part time programme with Four On Campus Modules of 9 days each, for working executives to prepare them for advanced career in management

GMPE will integrate advanced management theory, soft skills and quantitative methods with real world business practices. It has 240 hours of teaching in Four on Campus Modules of 9 days each.

Who can apply?

Candidates should be graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from recognised University.
The selection will be based on academic record, work experience and other achievements.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta invites applications for admissions to Post Graduate Diploma In Computer Aided Management (PGDCM) for 2012-2014.

What

The course follows a two-tier structure.

The objective of the PGDCM Program is to create business professionals who would know how to apply ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in making a difference in business and economy.

The program aims to train managers for a global and information rich future.

How to apply?

PGDCM applicants should appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2011.

The interview shortlist will be prepared based on multiple criteria such as CAT 2011 score, academic performance and relevant work experience.

The shortlisted candidates will appear for Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview (GD/PI), which will also evaluate candidates' competence and interest in ICT.

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is inviting applications for General Management Programme for Young Professionals (GMPYP) programme 2011-12.

What

General Management Programme for Young Professionals (GMPYP) through virtual classroom is a 12 month part time programme to prepare students for advanced career in management through a comprehensive and challenging curriculum.

This programme will integrate advance management theory, soft skills and quantitative methods with real world business practices.

Who can apply?

A graduate in any discipline with 50% marks recognised by the Association of Indian Universities or CA/ICWA/CS with minimum 2 and maximum 4 years of full time professional experience as on October 15, 2011.

How to apply?

Candidates will have to appear for an online entrance test. Final selection will be based on the test results, candidate's academic performance, evaluator statement of purpose and relevant work experience.

Important dates

Last date for submitting your admission form is October 15, 2011.

This will be followed by an entrance examination on October 23, 2011.

Selected candidates will be intimated by email on October 31, 2011.

While enrolment begins on November 12, 2011, classes will commence November 20, 2011 onwards.

MSc in Hospitality Administration at IHM

Applications are invited for admission to the two-year full time M.Sc. Hospitality Administration Program offered by the National Council for Hotel Management in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University at Institutes of Hotel Management located at New Delhi (Pusa) and Bengaluru.

What

It is a full-time course offered by the National Council of Hotel Management in collaboration with IGNOU at Hotel Management (IHM) located at New Delhi and Bengaluru. NCHMCT and IHMs have been set up by Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India.

Duration: Two years

Availability of seats: 25 at each institute (New Delhi, Bangalore)

Who can apply?

Students with B.Sc. Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT and IGNOU; OR

Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from AICTE approved Institutes affiliated with recognised Universities; OR

Regular faculty from Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated to NCHMCT with two years of teaching experience and having good track record of teaching and possessing above eligibility can forward their application through Principal of the Institute, sponsored under Sabbatical Scheme of NCHMCT.

Selection shall be strictly on merit basis i.e. based on marks obtained in qualifying examinations.

Other features

Admitted candidates with 60% and above marks in qualifying examination will receive fellowship of Rs 7,000 per month for 1st Semester.
