Shaileza answers, at 2012-03-28 15:50:13
after 10th you have to take bio group in 11th and then after 12 th there is medical entrance test, called PMT in India which you have to pass out.there is number of options such as BDS for Dental,BHMS forHomeopathy and MBBS for 4 n half degree graduation degree and BUMS for Unani Medicine & surgery.
Bijoy asked, I am an MBA graduate passed out in 2009.I joined one of the well knowned BPO last year and continuing it.The only thing which concerns me is the salary besides higher education. Please advise. Thanks Bijoy

Samir Bubere answers,
Dear Bijoy. As you know there are many MBA Graduates in the market today. At the same time you need to have more couple of years experience and then you can look ahead in the hike of salary accordingly. You can choose International destination For eg Canada or Australia to migrate where your salary can go higher according to the jobs over there. But that will involve costs.
Confused asked, i am in 11th standard and want to become a game developer. can you tell me good courses available in india and abroad?

Samir Bubere answers,
Dear Confused. There is no Govt course in Games design in India. You can go for a regular Bachelors degree in Electronics engg and choose your specialisation in Games desinging. You can choose UK Universities where you can study Higher National Diploma in Games design and then Final year Bachelors degree such as University of Greenwich UK
riya asked, Hi there..... I wanna go for a career in airline hospitality sector but my parents and other elder people in the family says.. things are very dirty out there in this profession... I am in 12th standard.... please guide

Shaileza answers,
Hi Riya,I can understand about ur dreams ,no doubt its a booming and glamorous industry but before choosing the same please see the negative part of it too. Now a days recession is there in this industry. Secondly people use to take it granted to treat you as a waitress and you have to compromise on many matters. It will be better to get admission in Bachelor degree and apply for better position in the same industry as for Air hostess there is no good qualification required. All the best for your future.
suraj asked, Hello Samir, this is Suraj.I have about 1.5 years of experience in Software Testing.I am B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering 2010 passout.I would like to proceed to the next level of testing at the same time I feel pursuing a PG such as an MBA would be much better.Kindly let me know what would be the best option and what are the opportunities with regard to both.I am confused.

Samir Bubere answers,
Dear Suraj, You can choose to work in software testing firms and gain the relevant experience and upgrade yourself for higher course in same field. Choosing MBA would not be suitable for you as Software Testing is very unique profile to work in. By doing MBA you a re gaining the knowledge of managing and organising and administrations. Best would be you complete your passion in SOftware Testing and then down the line 2 - 3 years choose to study MBA. Becasue MBA is a curriculum which requires 2 - 3 years of work experience to enjoy the course.

But still you can do a small research by meeting the faculties of those institutes if it is feasible to meet them and gain more knowledge that what curriculam they would be teaching you. If you are choosing to take any international destination like UK then they have a set curriculam on international standards to teach you. You can find course subjects of what they will teach us i that subject. Samir Bubere answers,
Hi Mona, Your exp in Operations would count for your success but you need to jump back in your relevant field of HR as soon as possible. Let it be for less salary but you need to shift into HR because it has its own core knowledge to deal with. I hope this answers your query.
Pcbarth155 asked, what are the future prospects of chartered accountant ????

Samir Bubere answers,
CA is a very brilliant profile and job sector. It is believed to be the success rate in CA is only 5% to 10% of passouts. Also it requires a lot of hard work. But you have to dream Big to Achieve Big. Also it is a lucrative profession.

Ankit asked, Dear Shaileza, I am presently working in an multinathional IT company earning around 60k/month. while my dad's business is also a option for me. Please let me know whether i should be in IT firm or join dad's business.

Shaileza answers,
Dear Ankit,First of you see do you have job and salary satisfaction then take the decision.I am not aware what business your dad has and your family back ground. If it is of your interest and you can earn and do better for your dad then definitely you should go ahead with your dad's business. To serve others this will be better option to help to your dad in growth of his business as you are a IT graduate so you will be a lucrative and innovative hand for family business. Finally it depends on you individually what you think.

I am fed up of being a worker or slave of company. As an Engineer I am just doing it for the Europian companies. Not doing anything for country. I want to do R & D in Energy sector as this is the need of the our for our country. Can you please guide.

Samir Bubere answers,
Thats some challenging question. Keep doing your job to earn money as well as be in touch with National Innovations Commission of India. Go on their website. Google it and look out if there are any projects that interest you. If you have any creative ideas, make a presentation, email your project to the concerned authorities for feedback.
KAREEVAVARU asked, i m just taking the 10th road exam from kandhar road, after that which field i can choose for better future.

Shaileza answers,
Hi,you see personally in which subject you have interest. If you are good in Math you can choose non medical stream for further engineering or IT or business studies. If you have interest in medical then choose Bio group but if you do not have any interest to become engineer or doctor there is more option you have for creative programs such as Fine Arts,Fashion Arts,Hospitality and Tourism & Travel.Choice is yours.
Kannan asked, This is Kannan. I have completed MSc Software Engineering and have 7 years experience in ERP and currently a Product Manager. How is future scope of Product management in India. I am thinking about changing my profile to Project management or Application Support management due to less opportunities for Product Management. Similarly some companies like Adobe, Google etc select candidates with MBA for Product management positions. How to convince them that though I don't have a MBA but I have enough skills to work in the position.

Samir Bubere answers,
Very simple. Send your detailed Resume with your skillsets on their HR id. Do google it and find it out. You never know when this would work out. Or directly visit the local offices in India whenever you have time and try to meet relevant department and drop your resume and Statement Letter what you want to do. Or try to find out someone on linkedln.com which a professional networking website. Any of the medium might work. Hope this answers your question.
zed asked, Hi Samir I really need the answer..MBA in HR & Marketing. 5+ years exp in Sales (Business Development), could not decide whether pursue the same career or is getting into Training & Development a better option as my liking is into training & development. do help please

Samir Bubere answers,
Dear Zed, It seems you are bored doing a Sales job since 5 years and you are not finding much interest in it. I think you are not enjoying what you are doing. The basic funda of any job is to enjoy the profession which you are into. Same time you have to see how financially you are capable for relocating your existing job. You also need to consideration all the pros and cons of the relocation into a new field. If you really feel to change then do not stop and go ahead into Training and Development. Find a right salary job and jump into that sector. Hope this answers your question.
