| Why is this the best college (labs / infrastructure / campus etc): | The ranking says it all. It ranked first last year in best colleges for B.Com Hons. The course curriculum is more stringent than SRCC's. The curriculum is in line with the course of Chartered Accountacy. Look at the Alumni base of the college. Discipline is another major part. Strict attendance issues and proper outfits which support a congenial and non provocative behaviour prevails. Find any person in Kolkata, even a Rickshwala, and he will show you respect if you are a Xaverian. Regular seminars. Diversity in courses. Sport support. |
| USP (why would you recommend this college?): | I am an alumnus of this college and have seen the benefits of belonging to the college. Right now I am pursuing my MBA from a reputed Institute and I know how it feels like being a Xaverian. You will always reap the benefits of belonging to the college. Right from your MBA interview to your Job Interview and when a company considers people for promotion. You will be favoured each time. |

The histry faculty of the arts department is a very vibrant and experimentative with various existing and established theory. It opens the mind to exploration & excavation resulting in new wave & new approach to study the subject like history.Many events and workshops follows that further add fuel to intense debate and debacle.Its like fresh breath & stimulation to intellectual horizon of students and scholar.Many other college lacks all that. |
