KTM has unveiled the RC 390 which is a full faired version of the Duke 390 and is expected to cost Rs 2.5 lakh.

The bike unveiled is not the production spec model but instead the race spec model which will be used in the 2014 ADAC Junior Cup.

KTM is slowly understanding the Indian market and the company is well aware about the importance of having a full faired offering, since customers prefer full faired bikes over naked ones.

The KTM RC 390 will be launched next year and KTM's CEO has confirmed the same. Production of the RC 390 will take place at Bajaj Auto's Chakan plant.

A quick glance on the motorcycle reveals it is the Duke 390 underneath.

However an aerodynamic headlight and fairing has been added. The exhaust isn't an underbelly unit but of Akrapovic make. However this appearance is only for the racing series and the bike which will go into production will be slightly different.
