Japan's most famous electric auto maker, Terra Motors has recently launched an electric superbike Kiwami and has plans to a launch a scooter soon.

India is one of the largest two-wheeler markets in the world. Brands from all around the world are trying to take a stand in the Indian market. As the 2014 Indian Auto Expo is approaching, many international brands are seen stepping up the gas.

Terra Motors, the most famous electric auto maker from Japan, is the latest entrant to join the bandwagon. Terra is famous for its unique and out of the box thinking and offerings.

After launching some excellent products in Vietnam and Philippines, the manufacturer is ready to show-off its products in India. Terra is going to introduce its unique electric scooter, A4000i, which is the only scooter to have wireless, smartphone-connect.

It seems like Terra motors will revolutionise the Indian two-wheeler market with the launch of its electric scooter, as fuel economy and increasing fuel prices have always been a concern.

With the launch of Terra A4000i, this concern might get addressed. Terra A4000i gets its power from a removable 48V40Ah lithium battery, that comes with a lifetime of 50,000km, while it makes the scoot run for about 65km when fully charged. It can reach up to a maximum speed of 65kmph.

Terra is looking for government subsidies to these electric vehicles, to make the two bikes inexpensive and increase demand for its products. The company is also ready to invest Rs 30 crore in India and is looking for proficient dealers who can deliver the preferred services to the residents.

At the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, along with these two products, the company will also display a three-wheeler. The biggest advantage of having these products is saying a yes to no environmental degradation, no air pollution, no concern for price hike of petrol, and much more. Terra's fresh technology will likely take the two-wheeler market to the next level.
