The Indian sports bike market is showing intense growth and we've said enough of it already. The recently launched Kawasaki Ninja ER6F or the 650R and the Hyosung GT650R could be the closest competitor to the V Strom if it makes to the Indian market.

We should remind you that the Ninja 650R is not a fully blown track bike.
The upright handle bars clearly depicts that the bike is in favour of cruising but amazingly the Ninja feels equally at home on a track as it does out on the highway.

The V Strom is oriented more towards adventure touring than the racing track. The rugged design and high ground clearance has to be noted. Surely this segment has a fan following in India.
