This is how India's top two-wheeler makers stacked up against each other in June 2012.

Hero MotoCorp continues its lead in the two-wheeler segment, selling 5,34,091 vehicles. While this might be a decline over the previous month, Hero still manages to remain the top motorcycle manufacturer in India.

Honda has taken over the number two position from Bajaj, selling 2,16,208 units.

This is a huge jump of 57 per cent over the same month last year, showing how the Dream Yuga has managed to give the Japanese automaker some traction.

Bajaj Auto declined to number 3, selling 2,11,510 units.

The reason for the sales decrease for Bajaj Auto could be attributed to the new Pulsar 200 NS and new Discover 125 ST not being made available across India yet.

TVS maintained the fourth spot by selling 1,65,438 vehicles. Sales are down for TVS and the minor facelift to the Apache doesn't seem to have worked wonders for the company.

Yamaha sat on the fifth spot, with sales of around 34,306 units. This is a decent number as Yamaha does not have scooters in its line-up yet.
