IN PICS: The supersexy bikes of Brad Pitt

A number of celebrities are known for their enthusiasm for motorcycles. In India we have John Abraham, M S Dhoni, Shahid Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt to name a few popular actors who love their bikes. The list is long for the Hollywood side as well.

Starting from Orlando Bloom to George Clooney, to Bob Dylan and Steve McQueen, there are innumerable stars that are known for their bikes. One such name from the Hollywood stars is Brad Pitt. He has a one of a kind collection of bikes.

Doesn't this quality make this delicious looking heartthrob even more desirable with the beauties that he is seen with? Both, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are known as bike enthusiasts and are more often seen riding one or the other from their collection.

Brad Pitt, a name that needs no introduction, as we already established earlier, is one hell of a bike freak. He owns a lot of bikes ranging from BMW R1150GS Adventure, Yamaha R1 and YZF R6, Triumph Bonneville, Royal Enfield Bullet 500, Ducati Desmosedici RR, Monster 696, a few Harley Choppers and some custom choppers as well.

With this list one can make out his love for motorcycles.

The BMW R1150GS Adventure, bikes were manufactured by the BMW Motorrad till the year 2005. The successor of the bike is the BMW R1200GS. The R1150GS has an 1130cc horizontally-opposed flat-twin engine with a 6-speed transmission and is capable of delivering 85bhp at 6750rpm and a torque of 102Nm at 5250rpm.

The top speed that this machine can achieve is nearly 200 kmph. The price of the superbike is nearly US $18,350, which works out to be nearly Rs 10.26 lakh (Rs 1.026 million).

The second beast in Pitt's line of bikes is the Yamaha R1. It's a bike known for its superior riding pleasure.

The bike is a 998cc, 16V liquid cooled in-line 4-cylinder engine mated with a 6-speed transmission delivering an efficiency of close to 14 kmpl.

In India the ex-showroom New Delhi cost of the R1 is Rs 14 lakh (Rs 1.4 million). The 2010 model of the R1 deliver an approximate top speed of 266 kmph.

Along with the R1, the collection also includes the Yamaha YZF R6.

The 2011 version, which is the latest model of the R6 has a 599.4cc 4-stroke, liquid cool, forward incline in-line engine with 4-cylinder and 16-titanium valves. It cranks up a power of nearly 122bhp at 14,500rpm and is mated with a 6-speed transmission.

It is also well known due to it being the first production model from Yamaha with the Chip Controlled Throttle system that ensures flawless engine response under any driving conditions.

The next in line is the Triumph Bonneville with its classic British style and latest technology. The latest Bonneville comes with a 865cc DOHC air cooled engine that churns out a power of 67bhp and is mated with a 5-speed gearbox.

In India, the 2012 Bonneville comes at a price of Rs 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).

The next motorcycle that Pitt owns is the none other than Royal Enfield Bullet 500.

This one is a 499cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder bike that comes with a 5-speed gearbox and produces a maximum power of 27.2bhp at 5250rpm and at an rpm of 4000 the maximum torque that is delivered is 41.3Nm.

The next speedster from Brad Pitt's line of bikes is the Ducati Desmosedici RR. The superbike has a 989cc engine which delivers a power of 200bhp at 13800rpm. The top speed of the bike is nearly 300 kmph.

Along with this he also has a Monster 696 which has a 696cc 2 valve per cylinder Desmodromic engine that delivers a power of 80bhp at 9000rpm and is mated with 6-speed transmission.

The top speed of the superbike is 205 kmph.

A few Harley Davidson Choppers also adorn Pitt's garage. For the benefit of a few, Chopper is a kind of a motorbike which is either tuned from an original design or is sometime built from the scratch and has a hand crafted appearance.

Not just Harley Davidson Choppers but Pitt has a lot of other Choppers also that adorn his collection.
