1943 Harley Davidson WLA V-Twin

Driven by a power-packed 750cc V-Twin engine, the 1943 Harley Davidson WLA was one of the biggest attractions at the 2nd Vintage and Classic Motorcycle Show, where it was presented with the Best Bike Award.

Belonging to the era of the Second World War, when it was created specifically for the US Army, this unique motorbike features a hand gear system and is owned by Sachit Sharma, a Harley fanatic from Agra.

1939 Norton 16H

1939 Norton 16H

Selected as the Best Vintage Bike at the event, the 1939 Norton 16H (H denotes the 'Home' model) was one of the oldest and most stunning participants amidst the huge gathering of vintage bikes in Jaipur.

With a 490cc engine sitting under its hood, this particular model is a part of the exceptional batch of British motorcycles that were manufactured between 1911 and 1954, and put to military use during the Second World War.

1946 Ariel VB 600

Yet another warrior from the Second World War, the incredible Ariel VB 600 manufactured back in the year 1946, grabbed the Best Restored Motorcycle Award at the Jaipur Vintage and Classical Motorcycle Show.

Taking every spectator by surprise with the fabulous condition in which it exists today, this hand-gear, foot clutch bike gets driven by a mighty 600cc powerhouse.

1954 BSA 350

1954 BSA 350

Amongst the winners at the 2013 Vintage and Classical Motorcycle Show was the 1954 model of the BSA 350, also known as the BSA 3.5HP, which was awarded with the title of the Best Maintained Motorcycle.

Restored to its original condition and carefully preserved after that by none other than the immensely skilled renovator of vintage bikes, Babulal Sharma, the bike is one of the most cherished possessions of the restorer himself.

1933 Corgi Paratrooper Bike

1933 Corgi Paratrooper Bike

Measuring just 22 inches in length and weighing not more than 33 kg, this spectacular bike straight from the 30s was the oldest model on display at the 2nd Vintage and Classic Motorcycle Show.

A part of the extraordinary collection belonging to the famous Indian rider, Birju Singh Sahab, this is a foldable motorbike that was used by soldiers during the Second World War to jump into war fields from military aircraft.

Presented with the Smallest Bike Award at the 2013 Indian Bike Week, this unique motorcycle is driven by a 98cc Villiers engine and can still attain a top speed of 60kmph.

1954 Lambretta D Scooter

Amidst this massive assembly of motorbikes, a select group of vintage scooters had also participated, easily grabbing a major share of attention from the visitors at the event.

Amongst them was also the star performer of its time, the iconic 1954 Lambretta D. Put up for display by Ghani Motors, Jaipur, this 150cc model was the most aged among the participating scooters at the show.

1942 BSA with Sidecar

1942 BSA with Sidecar

From the precious collection of Birju Singh Sahab, came yet another highlight of the 2013 Vintage and Classic Motorcycle Show in the form of the famous sidecar motorbike that featured in the Hindi blockbuster movie Sholay, the 1942 BSA 500cc.

Also known as BSA 5HP, this was a truly rare sighting for Jaipurites, being the solitary sidecar bike to participate.

1940 Triumph 350

1940 Triumph 350

Owned by Rajendra Sharma and restored to a spanking new condition by Babulal Sharma, a strong and sturdy Triumph also made it to the classic bike show in Jaipur, only to receive a tremendous response from the enthusiasts.

A member of the Second World War fighting squad, this motorbike was manufactured in the year 1940 and is powered by a 350cc power-mill.
