Sunita Shankar returned to the ramp after a decade with Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017.

Her collection, Beyond Tradition, incorporated Indian crafts, weaves and designs like the Bandhani from Kutch, Kantha from West Bengal, Brocade from Varanasi, the Bagh prints and the delicate Chanderi of of Madhya Pradesh in a combination of easy Street Wear as well as formal options.

The designer worked with the popular black and white duo, but also mixed it up with more exciting hues like crimson, burgundy and red for those who like to push the boundaries.
