Tamil Nadu SSLC results to be declared today

Results of the Tamil Nadu SSLC class 10 board exams will be announced by 1.30 pm today.

After much delay, the results for the Tamil Nadu Secondary School Leaving Certificate exam will be announced today.

About 11.5 lakh students registered for the Class X exams in the state this year.

Students can log on to http://tnresults.nic.in/ post 1.30 pm today to find their results.

This is the first time when students of four different boards -- the state board, matriculation, Anglo-Indian and Oriental appeared for the exam based on the common school syllabus.

This is not to mention how students in the state had to face a tough time owing to the court battle that finally issued a statement in favour of common syllabus for all the four boards.

Even the exams were postponed to make up for the two-month delay in the issue of new textbooks, early this year.
