We had asked you, dear readers to share your good and bad ATM experiences

Mumbai resident Sumesh Pillai tells us how he panicked when the ATM didn't dispense cash and what happened later.

I have an account with the ICICI bank.

Recently, I tried withdrawing Rs 2,500 from an HDFC ATM in Malad (West), Mumbai at night.

After all the process, the network failed and I didn't receive any cash.

I tried again but the result was the same. So I decided not to attempt another transaction.

Subsequently, I received an SMS stating Rs 2,500 has been debited from my account.

I panicked after seeing the message and tried calling the ICICI bank customer care but didn't get through.

I tried once again and this time I got through.

I came to know that the refund of Rs 2,500 has been credited instantly.

I am thankful to ICICI bank for solving  the issue.
