IMAGES: The BEST of India Resort Fashion Week

Surily Goel, Malini Ramani and Masaba Gupta were among the many designers who wowed us with their designs at the India Resort Fashion Week that concluded earlier this month.

Here are the ten best looks on the runway.

Romper suits, crop tops, bikinis, swimsuits ruled the runway at the India Resort Fashion Week.

The last of the several fashion events that dotted the calendar this year, the India Resort Fashion Week saw some of the most well-known designers showing their creations on the runway.

And though there were those few ramp fails that made us cringe, resort wear experts like Malini Ramani, Surily Goel and young talent -- Nishka Lulla and Masaba Gupta -- made it really difficult to choose the best of the lot.

Here then, is a look at the best designs we saw at the fashion week!

Archana Kumar

This black and orange number stood out from Archana Kumar's collection at the fashion week.

The combination of colours, asymmetrical hemline and the print make it a viable option for both a day or a night out.

The WORST of India Resort Fashion Week

Archana Kumar

Another piece that made a mark from Kumar's collection was this cutout bikini and the printed long shirt it was paired with.

An absolute head-turner, if you ask us.

Malini Ramani

This Malini Ramani-designed neon-coloured romper with a very eye-catching accessory was very edgy and absolutely gorgeous.

Way to stand out at a pool party.

Malini Ramani

Another piece by the same designer -- a monokini with a sheer detail -- this optical illusion piece earned a lot of points for its use of a very unconventional pattern and its risque neckline.

Masaba Gupta

If it's big on quirky prints, it has to be Masaba.

While this flouncy dress had us with its accentuated sleeves but did you check out that neckline and the full skirt on that thing?

Sounia Gohil

This Sounia Gohil creation, with its sheer crop top and skirt showed a lot of promise.

Turquoise and Gold

This Turquoise and Gold black bikini with gold panelling caught our eye during the show.

An absolute must-have this season!

Turquoise and Gold

Another swimsuit in grey was a standout from the show.

This grey number with a slouchy top is stuff glamorous retro-themed dreams are made of.

Nishka Lulla

The crop top champion and veteran designer Neeta Lulla's talented young daughter Nishka was a hit on the ramp as well.

This extremely laid-back bohemian look was a major win on many counts. Young hipsters would agree.

In SINS

Pegged as India's first premium pret fashion brand, SINS debuted at the resort fashion week with 'Kalm Your Sutra' line of colourful resort wear.

This particularly bright number caught our eye.
