Prince George accompanied his parents Duchess Catherine and Prince William to New Zealand on his first official trip and seemed to have taken to the country rather well.

George was the picture-perfect baby as he mingled with ten other babies his age during a playdate organised by the Royal New Zealand Plunket Society, a parent support organisation.

The baby prince maintained a regal calm even as some other babies wailed their lungs out during the hour-long playdate.

Dressed in a dungaree shorts and a white t-shirt, Prince George was everything a parent could ask from an eight-month-old.

Social, well-behaved and charming, the Prince made a fantastic first impression on everyone present. It was an informal occasion as the little ones crawled on the floors as their proud parents looked on.
