Only last week Sridevi stepped out in her full glory at the India International Jewellery Week and made our hearts skip a heartbeat.

The actress who is well into the second innings of her career has never looked better.

Here's looking at more such women who prove something we already know but refuse to accept -- that age is indeed just a number.

We start with Sheetal Mallar who's only just turned 40.

She's been modelling since she was 17 and has represented international labels such as Armani and Fendi among others.

Mallar has come a long way from playing the 'child bride' for a jewellery brand over two decades ago and has gone on to make heads turn in this ad.

She's been in the business for over quarter of a century and is about the same age as Sheetal Mallar but every time Noyonika Chatterjee steps out of the wings, she shows just why she is one of India's best-known models.

Chatterjee started modelling when she was 13 and has walked for every top designer you can name -- from Manish Arora to Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and more.

But she holds a special place in Sabyasachi Mujherjee's shows, most of which are never complete without her.
