Royal Enfield Continental GT: The most powerful Bullet

The latest mean machine from Royal Enfield will set you back by just Rs 2.05 lakh!

Royal Enfield has launched the Continental GT in the Indian market, after showcasing it multiple times in the past few years.

The Continental GT was launched in the UK earlier this year and has received positive response. The Continental GT is a modern take on the cafe racer and the company first launched the Continental GT cafe racer in 1965.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT is powered by a 535cc, single-cylinder engine which produces 29.1 BHP of power and 44 Nm of torque, coupled to a 5-speed gearbox.

The GT's UCE engine has good mid-range punch and the bike weighs 184 kgs. The company proudly boasts that the Continental GT is the fastest, lightest and most powerful Royal Enfield in production.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT uses a twin downtube cradle frame. The bike gets some good bits of hardware include Paioli rear shocks, Pirelli Speed Demon tyres and Brembo brakes.

It has clip-on handle bars and super cool looking bar end mirrors are optional. The standard bike comes with a single-seat but one can purchase a pillion seat for added flexibility.

Royal Enfield has also launched Burn-up wear for the Continental GT which is a wide range of riding merchandise. The Continental GT is offered in two colours -- red and yellow.

The motorcycle is attractively priced at Rs 2.05 lakh (on-road, Delhi).

Royal Enfield plans to launch more classic bikes and the Continental GT is a grounds-up product for the company.
