Masaba Gupta gives SEXY a new meaning!

March 20, 2021 09:50 IST

When designer Masaba Gupta, in partnership with boAt, presented a drive-in fashion show, Rediff.com's Rajesh Karkera and Hitesh Harisinghani decided to take a look.

Driven by comfort and inspired by luxury, Masaba Gupta's collection, featured breezy kaftans, saris with funky prints and fusion separates.

By transporting us to an era where nothing was ever boring, Summer 21's versatile, luxury-inspired silhouettes included playful florals, exotic animal prints and revamped versions of the designer's iconic motifs.

The first time in the history of Lakme Fashion Week, a drive-in show was organised.

Comfort is clearly the new luxury.

What do you think of these colour-coordinated separates in bold, funky prints?

The collection, with its joyous pops of colour, offered an escape into a period when everyday was a celebration.

The 'queen of prints', Masaba Gupta, steps out to greet the media at the end of the show.
