Did the temperatures just soar?

India's best-known swim and cruise wear designers Shivan and Narresh showcased their collection on Day Five of Lakme Fashion Week.

The work of the French artist, Henri Rousseau and his visuals of visits to botanical gardens on canvas was the source of inspiration for Shivan and Narresh's latest line.

The designer duo who have created 'in' and 'out' of the water lines, Shivan and Narresh presented a glamorous mix of cruise, resort and jewelled swimwear on the final day of Lakme Fashion Week.

The colours were arresting shades of soft saffron, ivory, yolk yellow and nude.

Hints of jewelled lines appeared around the waist of the bikinis.

And their statement prints inspired by Rousseau's canvases, appeared throughout the collection.

The fabrics were neoprene, stretch and soft materials that flowed in the wind as the models strolled around the pool.

Among the in-water styles, the line included trikinis, bikinis and maillots.

While wetsuits, resort wear, kaftans, rompers, jumpsuits, completed the perfect beachwear look.
