Titled 'The Empress Story' Malhotra's collection looked like it had found its perfect muse in Rai who looked enchanting to the core.

Aditi Rao HydariSophie Choudhry and Kriti Sanon were among the celebrity attendees that included Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, sarod player Ayaan Ali and boxer-actor Vijendra Singh who graced the front row.

How can an empress collection be complete without RED?

The designer added blooming flower-like motifs on gowns and jackets like the ones above to make it look grand and significant.

Speaking of volumes, there were these royal creations too!

"Manish is a very special person. It was great walking the ramp for him. I have known Manish for a long time. He visualises clothes like no one. His visual presentation is amazing. It is a visual treat. Another reason I like to collaborate with Manish is because we both share passion and sincerity for our respective work," Aishwarya told reporters after the show.

This was Aishwarya's return to the fashion ramp after a gap of five years. The last time the Jazbaa star walked the runway was also for Manish back in 2010 at the Couture Week.

"This is familiar turf for me. I have been part of this platform for the longest time now. There was so much positive energy. I enjoyed it a lot. It never felt like I was gone for a while," the former Miss World said.
