This is done by providing users with suggestions, so they can simply tap on the word rather than writing it completely. The settings for this mechanism can be customised too. With the aid of new adaptive keypad technology you will never miss to write sophisticated texts.

BlackBerry Leap comes with a non-removable 2,800mAh capacity Li-Ion battery. One can easily resort to heavy and mixed usage without interruption for up to 25 hours. This means you can charge it today and spend tomorrow without worrying of early drain out. With its GSM connectivity, Leap offers talk time of up to 12 hours and standby time of 15 hours.

Videos can be played for up to 9.5 hours and audio up to 80 hours. On UMTS network, one can consume 17 hours of talk time and 16.5 days of standby time.

With a brilliant 5-inch high-definition display, you can discover BlackBerry Hub and inbox Zen. All the messages from professional and personal roles under BBM, email, social media and text can be seen at one place, and are easily manageable.

Besides this, there is a microUSB 2.0 high-speed port that allows data and charging synchronisation of the smartphone via USB cable.

Leap does really leap on technological advancements in the camera department. At the rear side lays an 8MP camera with auto-focus, touch focus, flash and continuous focus features.

For zooming function there is a 5x digital zoom. Videos can be recorded in Full HD resolution at a frame rate of 30fps. In two steps, videos can be stabilised as well. Coming to the front side, there is a 2MP fixed-focus camera that is capable of recording high definition videos with aid of digital zoom of up to 3x.

The real personal digital assistant

BlackBerry Leap comes with special text-and-voice assistant. With help of Assistant you'd be able to take tasks quickly under any circumstance whether you are sitting at your desk, driving your car or have a meeting at someplace.

For security measures, Leap comes with screen lock and password protection. BlackBerry Leap has been designed keeping in mind the highest level of security for a user. Options like restore, wipe, backup and malware protection are in-built. Along with sleep mode feature, notifications are alerted by vibration, tone, multi-colour LED indicator, on-screen and voice out and input. The handset comes equipped with hands free, Bluetooth and dual-mic for noise cancellation. The sensors provided are Ambient light, Proximity and Accelerometer.
