Smartphone brand OnePlus is best known for its speed and performance.

The Chinese company has now collaborated with the British sports car maker McLaren Automotive to bring you OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition.

The McLaren edition which has a papaya orange colour comes with 10GB of RAM, a first in India.

It boasts of OnePlus's 30 watt Warp Charge 30 technology that charges your battery in just 20 minutes.

Currently, it is priced at Rs 50,999, which is Rs 5,000 more than OnePlus 6T's top variant (8GB RAM + 256 GB RAM.)

Design

There is no major change in OnePlus 6T's design except a papaya orange coloured line which runs at the bottom edges on the back of the phone.

To give a sporty feel, it is covered with carbon fibre textured design under the glass and features a McLaren logo at the bottom of the phone.

Hardware

The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 System on Chip (SoC).

This is the first phone with 10GB RAM capacity to be available in India.

For storage, the phone has 256GB of ROM. Ideally, a 512 GB be would have piqued our interest as the phone does not support expandable storage.

Battery

The phone houses the same 3700 mAh battery.

The fast charger based Warp Charge 30 is a fast charge technology by OnePlus.

Except for the warp charge and 10GB RAM, there is nothing new the phone can offer in terms of user experience.
