Create a 'slidesong' and win great prizes!

Last updated on: June 06, 2011 16:12 IST
Bring your photographs to life with music -- and win prizes!

We've got a novel new feature for you!

Now you can create slideshows of your favourite pics and set them to music, to be featured on rediff.com -- and you can win some cool prizes in the bargain!

As the holiday season winds up, the theme for our contest is your summer vacation -- we want to see what you were up to this season, via a rediff.com 'slidesong'.

Simply log onto mypage.rediff.com/slidesongs and click on the 'Get Started' button. Then follow the instructions to upload your own summer snapshots and set them to music of your choice. It's very simple!

The best three summer holiday slidesongs will win shopping vouchers from rediff.com, so once you're done, you need to click the 'Share With Friends' button and e-mail in the link to getahead@rediff.co.in (just so your emails don't get missed out, please mention subject line: 'My Summer Slidesong'). The three best Slidesongs will win shopping vouchers worth Rs 2,500, Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,000, and will be featured right here, on rediff.com!

Remember, the contest closes at 1800 IST on June 20, so make sure your entries are in by then!

Terms and conditions:

  • By participating, all entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of rediff.com
  • 3 winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received by rediff.com by the notified last date.
  • No cash substitution of prizes will be allowed.
  • In the event a winner chooses not to accept the prize, he or she forfeits all claim to that prize.
  • Any prize returned to rediff.com as non-deliverable will be awarded to an alternative winner.
  • The contest is only open to residents of India.
  • Employees of rediff.com and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the contest.
