The long wait for Bajaj Auto's much-hyped, all-new Pulsar 150 is over.

As we were expecting, Bajaj has unveiled a new 150cc Pulsar based on the 200NS (Naked Sport) platform in Turkey. The bike shares most of the aesthetics with its elder sibling except the heart, some equipment and the name.

The upcoming naked sport Pulsar 150 has been christened without the suffix 'NS', which can make it different from Bajaj's existing models. So, are they going to launch this new model with the name Bajaj Pulsar 150 in India as well? If yes, then the new bike might replace the existing one.

Propelling the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 150 is an all-new 150cc, air-cooled motor with 4-valve and triple-spark technology. The engine might be mated to the same 5-speed gearbox and powered by a carburetor type fuel system like the existing model.'

It is expected to deliver a better performance with a power output of around 15.5bhp and an optimum fuel efficiency.

As we mentioned above, the new bike has the aggressive styling like the Pulsar 200NS with a bold headlight, masculine fuel tank cover and sleek rear panels.

It also gets the split seat, clip-ons, digital-analog console, 10-spoke alloys and an under-belly exhaust similar to its elder sibling.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 150 will come with telescopic front forks and Nitrox mono-shock rear suspension with rectangular section swing-arm. The front wheel will be equipped with a petal disc brake like the 200NS, however, diameter will be slightly smaller.

The rear wheel will get a drum type braking unit like many other 150cc offerings in the market.

It will be positioned in the upper class of the premium commuter segment against the machines like Yamaha FZ series and Suzuki Gixxer. The naked sport Pulsar 150 is expected to be launched after the Pulsar 200SS and could be priced in a bracket of Rs, 72,000 to Rs 75,000.
