A miracle cream 'which reverses ageing process'

Spotted yet another wrinkle? No need to simply surrender to the temptation to the tall claims made by the burgeoning 'anti-wrinkle' cream market which makes sure that there's an anti-ageing cream launched every month.

Try out the 'miracle cream' for a change, say boffins.

A team in Britain have come up with the new 3LAB Super 'h' Serum cream which they claim reverses sun damage and plump ageing skin -- all you need to do is to shell out 215 pounds for a tiny tot.

The 3LAB Super 'h' Serum cream, which has taken more than ten years to develop and approve, is said to be the first to contain synthetic human growth hormone (HGH) which can slow or reverse ageing signs like wrinkles and skin pigmentation.

The protein-like substance occurs naturally in the body but 60-year-olds have half as much HGH as 20-year-olds. As people age, a lowering of HGH levels can lead to excess body fat, a lack of lean muscle tissue and wrinkle-prone skin.

"Now, it's not just stars and rich people who want this serum it's ordinary men and women too who are fed up with buying products that simply do not work," a Spokesperson for 3LAB was quoted by The Daily Telegraph as saying.

The lotion comes in a gold pot and contains another 12 anti-ageing ingredients in very high concentrations, such as fish oils and Vitamin C. Some studies found HGH injected into the bloodstream could make one look 10 to 20 years younger.

Numerous studies have extolled its virtues as a weapon in the fight against the signs of ageing, but it has not been approved in Britain as an anti-ageing therapy because its long term effect on health has not been evaluated. Nonetheless, it has been passed for use as a cream.

Some scientists doubt its effectiveness as a cream, saying the HGH protein is too big to penetrate the skin and do any good. But 3 LAB insists it has managed to engineer the serum so the HGH penetrates hair follicles, where most growth hormone receptors are located.
