You either have a social networking account or you don't. In other words, you're either 'with it' or not.

And when you hearing of how so-and-so's profile was hacked into, you always feel like it's something that could never happen to you.

But it can and it does. One false move is all it takes -- and sometimes not even that.

A couple of days ago, we carried designer Pria Kataria Puri's harrowing experience of having her e-mail address and social networking account hacked into.

Do you have a similar story to tell of being duped online through a social networking account?

Has someone hacked into your profile, sent friends misleading messages or stalked you using information you've made available online?

Share your experiences and advice -- e-mail us at getahead@rediff.co.in (subject line: 'My Social Networking Nightmare'). We'll publish the most interesting accounts right here.
