Global HR services company Manpower says the days of double-digit salary hikes for employees are over. At least, not till the global financial bust-dust settles down.

Manpower believes Indian companies, feeling the effect of the severe financial crunch, will be very cautious in how they reward employees this year.

Most employees in India go through an annual appraisal at the end of March/April or May.

Have you gone through your appraisal? Is your appraisal slated any time soon?

What are your expectations from your appraisers? What kind of pay hike do you think you will get/or have already got? If you have already been appraised, are you happy with your appraisal?

Are your salary expectations realistic given the current economic slowdown/recession (call it whatever you like, it is going to affect your wallet anyway)?

Will you rather keep your job instead of a salary hike? Or would you press for a raise?
